INTRODUCTION
Hello! It's Fatima Zahra
This is my A2 media advanced portfolio blog and here I will be presenting you all my music video.
This isn't my first blog but before this I initiated my work with 'Megazine' task which was included in my AS course. Megazine was the final conclusion but before reaching that we had preliminary task to work on, so that we can have an idea of what we have to do. I used Word Press for my AS blog to start my work with at that initial stage. For my A2 blog i will be using Wix as I felt that I can explore more on this site as it has more features.
My A2 media blog would include a Music video as the final conclusion and some of the other work.

SET BRIEFS
The set briefs each contain a major task along with two associated minor tasks.The set brief options are as follows:

Option 1: music promotion package A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music video (major task), together with a website for the band and a digipak for the album’s release (minor tasks).
Option 2: film promotion package A promotion package for a new film, to include two trailers (major task), together with a website for the film and a poster for the film (minor tasks).
Option 3: documentary package An extract from an original documentary TV program, lasting approximately five minutes (major task), together with a website for the documentary and a poster for the documentary (minor tasks).
Option 4: short film package A short film in its entirety, lasting approximately five minutes (major task), which may be live action or animated or a combination of both, together with a website for the short film and a postcard advertisement for the film at a short film festival (minor tasks).

The above given are the set briefs that we were provided to choose from. The main set brief that my group and I choose is Option one, i.e. the music promotion package. I am really looking forward to the planning and production part of the music video. I know that it will be a hassle balancing the website development the music video production and the digipack production altogether along with maintaining this blog, but this will prepare us for our future careers in the media related field. All relevant things related to the music video including all the effort and team work of my other two group members will be posted in this blog.
